Over the years I have been approached by legal folks about following the rules set forth by government agencies as well as organizational  guidelines such as clear disclaimers on auto dealer ads. Payola and personal interest disclosures have been a yearly thing with me for decades. The web has brought more guidelines and laws.

In the interest of disclosure I am obligated to make it clear that some of my reviews and articles could result in affiliate payoffs. That  means that some of the products I write about on this site could result in money and other forms of value for me.

I am happy to have paid the price for honesty over the years, and brothers and sisters let me tell you, I have.

I like the Paul Harvey precedent- Sell only products you  know and approve.

So if there is any funny stuff going on here, somebody holler, OK? Point it out so the government agencies that serve the greater good of ‘we the people’ won’t have to.
